funding, yet i haven't seen, and many institutions or states, where the number of public trust the pentagon on accordingly. so one might want to ask a question about proportionality. proportionate to the investment the state makes and who is making the decisions. we have a wonderful opportunity to lead the conversation. the governor, a year ago commissioned a committee to look at how do we strengthen in vermont the relationship and partnership between the university of vermont and the state. a very positive affirmation and approach on his part. the report came back and said that with 25 board of trustees members with the university of vermont, the proportion in light of the very substantial decrease in funding? it indicates that that is the lowest state funding for a public university per capita i don't know what the appropriate balance should be, but we will have an opportunity because the governor wants to have a discussion in the state about the relationship of public funding and who are the trustees and who should be making these decisions. perhaps thermopylae began in the conversation.
